It is very cold today. No wait, that is a huge understatement. It is sub zero, freeze the snot in your nose in 3 seconds cold today. ( I know that because it happened!) It is clearly too cold to go out but I HAD to get out of the house. It has been "too cold to leave" for a few days now. So we ventured to the Library to pick up some more books.
Anyhow, Little K has learned the word "GO". She loves "to go". The minute I say, "should we get ready to go" she runs to the entry, grabs her coat and starts shouting "GO GO GO GO". She will even find my keys and tell me to get my "ppsss" (which is code for purse). Today I mentioned to her that we were "going" to see her buddy Calvie and his new baby sister. She hadn't even had breakfast yet and was running for the door. Half of the time, when we 'go' somewhere, she is so anxious to get home and tells me so the entire time we are out.
Well hopefully it will warm up enough to play in the snow on Saturday. K has a great plan to take the 4wheeler out and drag us on the tube. (we will see about that....)
So for now, we will continue to wear tights under our pants, 3 shirts and 4 pairs of socks.

Jason and I were just commenting how cold it is in your neck of the woods as we were watching the news last night. Crazy!! I don't envy you one bit. Stay warm!
and 2 pairs of gloves, ear warmers, and a very warm hat. And leg warmers if ya got 'em
I call it "stupid cold", even though we aren't allowed to say that word at our house!
Sheesh, what a winter to move to the midwest, huh?
