Crafts and Snow

To Finish off the break we went to the family museum. They had a bob the builder exhibit. As soon as little K saw this cat she ran over and climbed on. It is not intended to be climbed on and she kinda got herself stuck but she didn't care, she was having a great time.

Big K taught little K what he learned last trimester in the cadaver lab.

She LOVES to "dive"...

I have been busy crafting the last few days.
My new spring sign for the entry way. I want to add some flower garland over the top.

Yesterday it decided we needed more SnOw! What is that all about? We have had some great weather and so it makes it really hard to go back to the cold windy and snowy weather. But this is Iowa and it is only March. Little K loves to "see, see see see see" out the window. Today she was very surprised by the snow.

This is a goofy shoot. She saw the camera and grabbed her baby and said cheese. She begged me to take her picture.... where are her pants you ask? I have no idea.

We were going to run a few errands and she runs to the entry way and gets her hat and glasses and says "ready!"

I had been thinking a long time about coming up with a meal calender that is fun, easy, provides versatility and of course cute. This is what I came up with.

I have been working on some spring and Easter crafts and decor. I started with some fabric eggs which I though t were super cute... but the dont look a whole like eggs. More like hacky sacks (according to Big K). Anyhow I came up with this idea for a bunny for my mantle. This is what I came up with. I am very pleased. Funny story. I tried about 5 different ways to do the eyes and decided to have a blind bunny. Everything I tried looked wrong, too small, to evil, to big. I love the way it turned out though.
I am nearing my 100th post! Oh my.... Any suggestions on what I should do for the infamous 100th post, please share!

So far - so fun!

K is on break from school right now. We have had such a blast. His parents drove out to see us. We had to say good - bye this morning as they needed to get back to Arizona. It was absolutely wonderful having them here. We played a lot and got a lot done around the house. We were able to paint Little K's room. It is now pink and not the ugly green and blue. We built a small bench in our entry way, we did a ton for my FHE flannel board and the men worked a lot on the wood in the backyard. I am so glad they were able to come and visit and help us celebrate K's birthday. (sorry the pictures are in reverse order, I always for to load them in backwards)

Little K helped her dad open his cards

Happy 28th Birthday!
We went up to the sky bridge - Little K was very happy wondering by herself
