How to mop the floor on Sunday

Start with a sweet tooth
then search the cupboards for a treat to make
Decide on a white cake with white frosting *yummy*
Ask your toddler is she wants to help
Add eggs, oil and water and let toddler mix it all together
Be pleased with self when little spill doesn't bother you too much (it comes with toddler cooking right?)
Pour cake into glass 9x13 pan with out toddlers assistance
Toddler will get mad that she didn't pour cake
turn your back on toddler just long enough for her to push the cake batter to floor where the pan shatters
and VOILA!!!
now you must sweep and mop the kitchen floor on Sunday.

My artist

Today we played with the paint program on daddys computer. Little K had so much fun. Here is her masterpiece.

So funny Mom

Little K just came up to me and was looking a little concerned. She had just come out of the kitchen and says "Mom, the candy and gum are lost but I found them in the other cupboard." I had moved the gum and candy stash because she continues to sneak in and get some. I told her I moved them. She sincerely asked "why". I told her honestly that I was hiding them from her because she kept sneaking them. oh here is the good part.

" Mom, you are so funny trying to trick me! I will always find the candyMom !"

(*please note, this comes only 2 days after I found her crying on the kitchen floor because she fell off the counter trying to get some pretzels by herself. She is so stinking independent.)

2009 is gone, and I am so far behind

2009 is done and over and I had so many things to blog about. So here is my super duper fast catch up post. I am going to try to be better about posting once a week.  (and the pictures are out of order so sorry for that)

Here is Little K writing her letter to Santa. I let her use markers and she was the happiest kid around.

For halloween this year, I made little K's costume. She wanted to be a panda bear. I went all out with faux fur and everything (which required a has-mat suite while sewing - memorable experience!) Anyway, we went to K's school for trick-or-treating. She won a $20 gift card for "CUTEST COSTUME!!" I was super excited.

Little K and her best Friend at Trunk or treat

We had a few friends come over and paint with us. SO fuN!
She finally has enough hair to do little pigtails. She loves them
O
Over  the  break we went on a mini vacation to Wisconsin Dells. We had such a blast. The indoor water parks were amazing.  Kini had a great time but is a little bit freaked out by tubes now. The rides and wave pool were NOT for her.
Made gingerbread  house.

On Christmas eve we has a little party at our house. It started with a progressive dinner with a couple families then met at our house where the kids did a nativity skit. Kini made sure she was the star of the show but screaming and running around like a women on a mission. she wanted the gift for baby Jesus and she wanted it NOW. Then we had a very special guest come. I had been talking about him coming for a month. Kini and got his chair all ready that day and she was so excited for Santa. But when he finally came, she would NOT go near him. She was so not sitting on his lap.

Christmas morning was a huge hit. Kini got spoiled rotten and she loved every second of it. In fact, she was so spoiled that she got bored opening presents. She had enough opening them and just wanted to play with what she already got.  This is the sleeping bag I made her. Fun fun

Christmas day we went to our friends, the Schreck's house, and had a feast. She decorated so cute and the food, oh the food was delicious.

This is the greatest gift. K's brother cut this out of metal for me. I pretty much love it. I  was so super excited to get it.

Me and two of my girlfriends went to the Midnight showing of The new Twilight Movie. We had so much fun!

2009 is gone, and I am so far behind

OK, I just uploaded about 20 pictures and this is the only one that came up. What the heck. Ok. I will try again. More to come soon.....

This is Little K with her spoils from Trick or treating at daddy's school.

K: no (and walks away)

OK - this can not already be happening. Seriously!!! are you kidding me?!? She is not even 3 and already so sassy.  Good thing I can laugh at it because otherwise I would cry.

Oh ya, I am going to go private this weekend :( I think that it is a good idea. Anyway I will be contacting you all to get emails to invite you.

Dr. K to the rescue!

Today Little K and I went to spend her gift cards at Toys R Us. She picked a big girl cabbage patch doll (she has newborn twins already) and she also picked a little toy doctors kit. She told me she wanted to be a doctor like dad. She love loves to look in ears, mouths, and noses.
So today she came up to me and asked if I were sick.
Me: Oh yes doctor, I am horribly ill
K: Ok, its ok. I will take care of you. Let me check your heart.
(listens to my heart while saying "bump bump bump bump")
K: Your heart is noisey!
Me: Oh, is that what is wrong?
K: no. Let me look in your ears
 - she looks in my ears and I quote
K: " Your ears have boogers and I will get them out for you. Dont move, this may hurt"
Me: Laughing but pretending to be scared I say OK, be careful
K: Be brave and I will be right back
she comes back with her new plastic tweezers. And then pretends to extract the boogers from my ears and wipes them in a tissue.
She told me I was so brave and so strong and that she was so happy that she got the boogers.
It is a good thing she was here to cure me of my ear boogers and now I am happy and healthy!
